TNS Zavala Squadron
The TNS Zavala Squadron was named after the TNS Zavala of the 2nd Texas Navy. It was the first steam warship to ever serve in battle for either the Texas Navy or the US Navy.
The TNS Zavala Squadron has its home port at the Texas Maritime Museum in Rockport; and will soon be actively recruiting new members in our area which includes the Coastal Bend from Port Lavaca and south to Boca Chica.
All currently Commissioned Admirals in the Texas Navy and all personnel interested in becoming members at the Governor appointed Admiral or Commander, Lieutenant (young adult/student) or Associate member levels are encouraged to contact us by completing and submitting the membership application (application pending availability). Applications or questions may be sent to: TNSZavala@gmail.com.
