Why I am interested in becoming a member of the TNA:
I have been working with history most of my life. For the last 23 years, I have worked as the lead researcher for the Texas General Land Office where I have studied and researched the history of the Texas Navy. It comes down to this really, without the Republic of Texas, there would be no Texas Navy. Without the Texas Navy, there might not have been a Republic of Texas. The Texas Navy was instrumental in protecting the Texas coast and when ever a Mexican vessel could be found, the Texas Navy was willing to engage them in battle.
